Consultant, Advisory and Technical Service (CATS)
Coley is part of the ASM Research Team selected by the Air Force Medical Service Commodity Council AFMSCC) as one of multiple Consultant, Advisory and Technical Service (CATS) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) prime contractors on February 2, 2012. The total contract ceiling, inclusive of a five-year ordering period of performance, is $985M.
This contract vehicle is designed to provide non-personal services and will allow the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) to focus on supporting the critical worldwide medical service mission. The vehicle will provide services throughout the Continental United States and its territories, and at contractor off-site locations. Its scope includes the following services:
- Management & Professional Services
- Studies, Analyses, and Evaluations
- Engineering & Technical Services

Reduce Costs & Lower Risk
The CATS contract vehicle enables all Air Force Military Treatment Facilities and other external Air Force medical organizations (MAJCOM, FOAs, DRU, and other approved customers) to eliminate or significantly reduce the costs and time of procuring the services with low risk solutions.
Through this convenient method of procurement, customers can access a broad range of Team ASM's services that draw on a centralized fund, and work exclusively with the AFMSCC for decentralized execution at the installation ordering authority level.
This vehicle also provides a pre-selection process that ensures individual task order awards are quickly completed with a trusted vendor of proven quality, like Team ASM.
